Selectmen - Change of Day of Meeting

Beginning in February 2016, the Sharon Board of Selectmen will meet on the first and third Mondays of each month, rather than the first and third Tuesday.  The time of the meeting will continue to be 5:30 pm.

Budget Hearing

The Sharon Board of Selectmen will hold a hearing to discuss the 2016 budget at 5:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Sharon Meeting House.

Selectmen - Meeting with Election Officials

The Sharon Selectmen will be meeting with the Moderator, Town Clerk and Supervisors of the Checklist at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2015 at the Sharon Meeting House.  The group will discuss new procedures required for the primary election in February.

Selectmen - Special Meeting

The Sharon Selectmen will be meeting with the Peterborough Town Administrator to discuss 2016 charges for services provided by Peterborough (Police, Fire, Ambulance, etc.).  The meeting will be held in Mr. Bartlett's office at the Peterborough Town House at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2015.

ZBA Hearing - February 2, 2016, 6:00 pm

The Sharon Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a hearing on February 2, 2016 at the Sharon Meeting House.  The hearing will begin at 6:00 pm.

The Board will consider an application for a variance submitted by Jacqueline Hobbs, 172 NH Route 123.  A one-car, pre-fabricated garage has been placed on Ms. Hobbs’ property; the garage does not meet the setback requirements of the Sharon Zoning Ordinances.  Ms. Hobbs is seeking the variance because the small size and irregular shape of her parcel does not allow placement of the garage at any location that would meet the setback requirements.
