Town Roadside Clean-up Day - Saturday, April 25

The Sharon Conservation Commission has set the date for Town clean-up day:  Saturday, April 25.
 
Blue trash bags will be available at the Meeting House at 9:00. There is no need to sort what goes into these bags. Please tie them shut and leave them alongside the road. Leave bulky items such as tires along with the trash bags. We will pick up the bags along Town roads on Saturday afternoon, and the State highway crews will be picking up bags on the State roads the following week.
 
You may pick up the trash along your own section of road, or meet with other volunteers at the Meeting House at 9:00 to help clean up a stretch of problem roads, such as Nashua Road. Please turn out and help to clean up our Town!

Hearing - Proposed Ordinance

The Sharon Selectmen will hold a public hearing to discuss a proposed ordinance concerning the question of whether animals, excluding service animals, should be prohibited from entering the Sharon Meeting House. 

The hearing will be held as part of the regular Selectmen's meeting scheduled for 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Sharon Meeting House, 432 Route 123, Sharon, NH.
