Planning Board Meeting Postponed

Planning Board Meeting Postponed

The conflict of the Town Meeting with the normally scheduled meeting of the Planning Board on March 8, 2011, has required a postponement of the monthly meeting of the Planning Board to Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 7:00 PM in the Sharon Meeting House.

The Ad Hoc Broadband Committee and citizens have commented on the lack of cell phone and broadband capabilities within the town, and have expressed concern that the Sharon Telecommunications Facilities Regulations may have impeded development of the necessary infrastructure. These regulations will be reviewed at the March 15th meeting and all interested parties are urged to attend.

Copies of the Telecommunications Facilities Regulations are available on the Sharon Town Website, and at the Sharon Meeting House.
